CLASSES

 

Classes are run at the Old Chapel (3 Queens Passage, BR7 5AP), a beautiful building in the heart of Chislehurst. Each class has a maximum of 12 clients ensuring close supervision, support and adaption of exercises to suit the group and individuals. A wide range of exercises are taught on the mat and include the use of small equipment and props to provide additional challenge and resistance and also enhance movement. All equipment, including mats are provided.


Monday:

Beginner/Improvers - 6.45-7.45pm

Mixed Ability - 8.00-9.00pm

 

Tuesday:

Mixed Ability - 9.15-10.15am

Gentle over 65s - 10.30-11.30am

 

Friday:

Mixed Ability - 9.15-10.15am 

Beginner/Improvers - 10.30-11.30am   

 

 

BEGINNER/IMPROVERS

Ideal for those new to Pilates, have been practising for a short while or are happy to stay at thislevel. The core principles of alignment, breathing and centring (core stability) are covered, challenging your movement in a gradual way.

 

BEGINNER OVER 65s

Working through beginner level exercises at a gentle pace and focus on good movement patterns that translate into improving functional movements in daily life.

MIXED ABILITY

Ideal for those who have some Pilates experience and are generally injury free. These classes offer more of a challenge reinforcing the core principles with each exercise but provding options to progress to different levels as required.

PRICING

All classes are booked by block (between 6-8 weeks) at £10 per class. Payment is made in advance of the block to secure your place.

MAKE UP SESSIONS

If you miss your regular slot during any given block, you can switch to another time, space allowing (agreed in advance of time).

PRIVATE SESSIONS

A private session is a great way to tailor Pilates to your specific needs. These one hour sessions take place in the comfort of your own home, with all necessary equipment provided. The first session will assess your requirements and posture and will introduce the founding principles of Pilates after which a individual plan will be developed week on week.

Introductory and follow on sessions £45 each.

Block discounts are available at 5% off for blocks of 5-9 sessions and 10% off for blocks of 10 or more booked and paid for upfront.

Discount packages are valid for either a period of 10 weeks for 5 sessions or 20 weeks for 10 sessions from the date of purchase. After this period any unused sessions will be forfeited and no refund offered. Extenuating circumstances will, of course, be considered.

INTRODUCTORY 1:1 SESSION

  • If you are completely new to Pilates and will be joining an existing class, have a minor injury or have been referred by a specialist, a 1:1 session at £45 is recommended.

  • This session gives you an introduction to the Pilates method and gives us the chance to discuss your Client Enrolment form and individual goals. This session also helps you to then join a class with other members who have been practicing for a while.

  • In the case of injury or medical conditions, a note from your GP or consultant to confirm you are fit to exercise, may be required.
